As our Mothers often say, their infants or toddlers learn so much from just being together. They also learn from being with adults other than Mother or Dad. Infants in contact with older children learn by watching how older ones crawl, stand up, walk, and talk. Toddlers learn to be gentle with babies. All learn to give and take, sometimes "taking" more than "giving," but each is a learning process and they learn what is and is not acceptable behavior. Adults, other than Mother or Dad, gently, patiently, love and guide so that our nursery children learn to accept adults as guideposts and examples by which to learn what is right and wrong.
Our goals are set to love, teach, guide, show by example, and to promote further development of each child in our nursery.
